Gallery 4 Ballerinas

Just a small selection in this gallery. The four paintings are actually in oils and were painted many years ago. Having worked in pastels for many years I loved the paintings by Degas and was influenced by his choice of subjects. I love painting ballet scenes although others I have done in the past have all been sold. This was before the luxury of scanning the images and saving them on computers as we do today. The four paintings are my favourite paintings and are for sale, the price as you will see reflects my reluctance to part with them. However excellent prints are available from them if you are interested or I could even paint them in watercolours if you require. I am always interested in obtaining subject matter concerning ballerinas in similar poses to the ones below, for instance candid shots.
